Below is our privacy policy which incorporates these goals:

Industrial Safety Development Council (“ISDC”) operates _________ and a number of other mobile applications on behalf of our customers (collectively, the “Applications”).   This SERVICE is intended for providing fire safety training. It is Industrial Safety Development Council’s policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect while operating our App.

This page is used to inform visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use our Service. If you choose to use our Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The Personal Information that we collect is used for providing and improving the Service. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

Application Users

Industrial Safety Development Council collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. ISDC’s purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how ISDC’s visitors use its App. From time to time, ISDC may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its App. ISDC also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses. ISDC does not use such information to identify its visitors, however, and does not disclose such information, other than under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally-identifying information, as described below.

Gathering of Personally-Identifying Information

Certain visitors to ISDC’s App and users of ISDC’s other similar mobile Applications choose to interact with ISDC in ways that require ISDC to gather personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information that ISDC gathers depends on the nature of the interaction.

For a better experience, while using our Service, we may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information, including but not limited to name, email, address, mobile no. Those who engage in transactions with ISDC  – are asked to provide additional information, including as necessary the personal and financial information required to process those transactions. The information that we request will be retained by us and used as described in this privacy policy. In each case, ISDC collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitor’s interaction with ISDC. ISDC does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below and visitors can always refuse to supply personally-identifying information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain App-related and Application-related activities.  

The app does use third party services that may collect information used to identify you.

Protection of Certain Personally-Identifying Information

ISDC discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only to those of its affiliated organizations (like Local Governing Body, Employer etc) that (i) need to know that information in order to process it on ISDC’s behalf or to provide services available at ISDC’s App and other Applications, and (ii) that have agreed not to disclose it to others. ISDC will not rent or sell potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information to anyone. Other than to its affiliated organizations as described above, ISDC discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only when required to do so by law, or when ISDC believes in good faith that disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect the property or rights of ISDC, third parties or the public at large. If you are a registered user of an ISDC App and have supplied your email address, ISDC may occasionally send you an email to tell you about new features, solicit your feedback, or just keep you up to date with what’s going on with ISDC and our products. We primarily use our various product blogs to communicate this type of information, so we expect to keep this type of email to a minimum. If you send us a request (for example via a support email or via one of our feedback mechanisms), we reserve the right to publish it in order to help us clarify or respond to your request or to help us support other users. ISDC takes all measures reasonably necessary to protect against the unauthorized access, use, alteration or destruction of potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information.

Information Security

We store all user information in secure databases protected via a variety of industry-standard access controls. Secure passwords, SSL encryption, disk-based encryption, firewalls, and other measures are in place that helps us to protect your data. This data is accessed only for the purposes specified in this privacy statement as updated from time to time. Business Transitions

In the event ISDC goes through a business transition, such as a merger, acquisition by another company, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, your personally identifiable information will likely be among the assets transferred. In such a circumstance You will be timely notified via email of any such change in ownership or control of your personal information.

Aggregated Statistics

ISDC may collect statistics about the behaviour of visitors to its App and users of its Applications. For instance, ISDC may monitor the most popular sections/feature modules on its customers apps. ISDC Ltd. may display this information publicly or provide it to others. However, ISDC does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described above in the “Protection of Certain Personally-Identifying Section”.

Cookies

A cookie is a string of information that an App stores on a visitor’s computer, and that the visitor’s browser provides to the App each time the visitor returns. ISDC uses cookies to help ISDC identify and track visitors, their usage of the ISDC App, and their App access preferences. Users have the option to either accept or refuse these cookies and know when a cookie is being sent to your device. If ISDC visitors choose to refuse our cookies, such ISDC visitors may not be able to use certain features of ISDC’s App properly without the aid of cookies.

This Service may contain links to other sites that are not owned or controlled by ISDC. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that site. Note that these external sites are not operated by us. Therefore, we strongly advise you to read the privacy statements/policies of each and every App that collects personally identifiable information. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.

Please be aware that we, ISDC, are not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites.

Changes in this Privacy Statement

We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will not materially change our policies and practices to make them less protective of customer information collected in the past without the consent of affected customers. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it.
